SATURDAY:
The
first semi final was little more than a
formality as Worcester ended Birmingham's
run with a 25 point victory.
But
the game of the day was London Met v Loughborough.
Close for most of the game, London Met managed
to build a lead in the second half and went
into the final quarter with a double figure
advantage.

However,
Loughborough's Rodney Bryn-Hussey (above)
lifted the team onto his shoulders and almost
single handedly brought them back into the
game through sheer force of will.
Loughborough
hit a tonne of threes and threatened to
topple the London team.
But after Bryn-Hussey missed two foul shots
in the dying moments of the game there was
no coming back.
Underdogs
London Met were ecstatic.
