In

Trent. Ladi Brown had a good game for the
London team...whilst Nottingham's Stefan
"Matrix" Gill couldn't get his
three to drop.

London Southbank celebrate victory in
the Shield
Meanwhile,
Manchester beat Hertfordshire in the Trophy
final.
SUNDAY:
In
all honesty, we had Worcester to win by
at least 15.
Stu
called it the night before the game: "London
Met are going to get killed on the inside
by Ty Shaw and Rob Clarke. That'll force
them into a zone defence - which will open
up Harper's game and he'll kill them from
long range."
In
the first quarter, it looked like that was
going to be the case. Worcester raced out
to a massive lead and the London Met players
looked rattled.

Having
torched every team previously, Worcester
guard Andy Harper (above) carried on sick
once again - hitting the three and repeatedly
getting to the foul line thanks to his deceptively
quick pace and excellent ball control.

However,
as a few Worcester players got into foul
trouble (including captain Ty Shaw - above)
London Met made a run and managed to close
the gap to 11 at the half. Incredibly, all
of the London team's first half points came
from just three players - Perentos, Vouteris
and Kostas Kontomichos!
